About
I have worked since 1989, as a live mix touring engineer, combining those duties with that of studio engineer, and producer. My first professional studio work was at Peter Gabriel’s Real World studios in 1991 as analog recording transitioned to digital. I learned on the job working with early adopters of the new technology such as, Brian Eno, John Paul Jones, and Peter Gabriel, first using Pro-Tools in 1991 shortly after its vision 1 release.
My passion is facilitating artists in creating engaging and influential music for every album and concert. When not on the road, I work out of my studio in the village of Kirkmichael in the heart of rural Perthshire, Scotland.
